Words don’t care about your intentions

Just because you are not saying something with any negative intentions, that doesn’t stop the other people that are.

Two different people can say the exact same words and intend to mean completely different things. Even more difficult is that the understood meaning of those words is then completely dependant on who’s hearing them.

The cure to this either using more words or choosing the right ones.

This is why politicians talk to so much. This is why companies have huge PR departments. And this is why you should always think twice before you press send on Instagram or Twitter.
