What if aspects of your personality just disappeared?

Imagine having to ask for help every time you want to get anything done.

Imagine losing your sense of humour.

Imagine if aspects of your personality just disappeared.

Imagine having people explain the answers to your questions as if you were a four-year-old (and only having the ability to respond to them with the language of a three-year-old).

You can be the most charismatic, intelligent, interesting person in your own language, but all of that goes out the window when you can’t put a sentence together.

Learning a language is something every person should do if not for any other reason but to re-learn humility.
